Birch Lodge is a fantastic log cabin sleeping six people with two bedrooms and is part of Rosliston Forest Lodges. The lodge is in a quiet and secluded setting within the National Forest Centre which covers over 150 acres of woodlands.
There are two other lodges available at Rosliston Forest Lodges and this is the Cedar Lodge (Pet Friendly) and the Sycamore Lodge. The Birch Lodge is the smallest of the lodges and is on one level. The lodge has a living room which has a sofa bed which provides extra sleeping for two people should it be required and there is a dining room/kitchen.
There are two bedrooms one is a double with a 6ft wide bed (can be made to a twin on request) and the other is a twin bedroom. The lodge also has a wet room and the toilet is separate. Some other features to Birch Lodge include all the electricity and bed linen provide and included in the cost.
There is a Freeview TV and outside is a verandah and outdoor furniture. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of white goods including washer/dryer, dishwasher and a microwave. The lodge also has wheelchair access and additional disabled facilities.
There is a games room available at Rosliston Forest Lodges which has a pool table. The setting for the lodges is idyllic and there is a forest centre which has a wide range of activities available. Please not some of these activities are not included in the price of the holiday and must be booked in advance.
Some of the activities available include great places to walk with a range of way marked tracks and trails and bike tracks. There is also a restaurant at the Forest Centre. Some other attractions within easy reach include Alton Towers which is only 20 miles away. If you like to spend your evening having a couple of drinks then there are pubs under half a mile away and these are easily accessed via a marked path.
