Holiday Accommodation & Location Details
Brecon Cottages are located in the famous Brecon Beacons National Park near the town of Powys, which is one of Wales’s and the British Isles most remote places. The cottages boast both mountains and lakes and this region is a fantastic place to explore. The best way to see the Beacons is to head out on foot for a long walk.
This may take you up Pen Y Fan which is the highest point in the national park, or through a picturesque valley. Either way there are endless possibilities to choose from. Cycle hire is also available and is a fantastic way to explore the expanses of the Brecon Beacons.
The holiday setting also boasts a fantastic range of facilities. These include an indoor heated swimming pool which has both a swimming lane for those who take their sport seriously, as well as a more family orientated area. The pool itself is covered by a large glass roof which is a great way for guests to see the outdoor scenery whilst having a swim.
There is also a sauna on site as well as a fully equipped gym for those who like to keep in shape whilst on holiday. Food options are catered for by two separate restaurants one of which that provide full meals and the other more simple snacks.
A series of apartments (10 in total) provide accommodation for guests who can choose from a variety of styles and sizes to suit their individual needs. One apartment of which is family orientated is the Family Suite Two. This apartment costs from just £249 per week and is great for families due to its bunk beds and double bedroom.
The most luxurious of all the accommodation is the Honeymoon Suite that has a spa bath and overhead shower, open plan living area and luxury fixtures and fittings. There is also a private sauna and chocolates available on arrival. Some of the other accommodations have four poster beds, ensuites and some are pet friendly.
