Holiday Accommodation & Location Details
The Cardigan Bay area is an area of truly breathtaking natural scenery and the Gwalia Falls holiday camp is located right on the beach of Tresaith. Tresaith beach is periodically patrolled by lifeguards in the summer months making it a great choice for a family day out, and a perfect place to have a holiday.
The holiday park itself has however plenty of activities on offer to keep you entertained, suitable for all of the family. The biggest pull factor however at Gwalia Falls is not the park itself but the prime location of the park on the beautiful Welsh coastline.
The location means that those visiting can go for walks along the magnificent coastline, stopping off in one of many pubs and restaurants for a bite to eat. The camp is also a short drive from many of North Wales’s towns such as Bangor, a very old university town with a great student friendly young atmosphere.
Accommodation is provided in a series of lodges and caravans in order to suit all budgets. The lodges can sleep up to six people and cost around the £500 per week mark which is significantly more expensive than the caravans which on average tend to be around half of this weekly rate.
The lodges do however add several added comforts making them worth the extra cost. The biggest one of these being the extra space offered which is perfect if you wish to bring a large family who need room for all of their things or wish to bring bulky sports equipment.
The bathrooms and bedrooms are also much more spacious in lodges as opposed to caravans. The static caravans on offer tend to be much more affordable and are around the £250 per week mark, and sleep up to six people.
The caravans house people in two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and have their own bathrooms. Ultimately the choice between lodges and caravans comes down to whether or not extra space is deemed valuable, along with individual budgets.Tags: Lodges in Cardiganshire, Lodges in Mid Wales, Lodges in Wales
