Holiday Accommodation & Location Details
Rich landscaped gardens form the grounds of the Haggerston Castle Holiday Park which is perfect for family getaways. The holiday park is aimed at both families and couples due to the range of activities on offer. These range from swimming either indoors or outdoors in one of the two heated swimming pools, to heading to the spa or treatment rooms.
There is also an entertainment centre which hosts a range of shows and discos throughout the year. When it comes to accessing the holiday park, the location really is paramount. The location of Haggerston Castle Holiday Park in the North of England means that the park is close to a number of large cities. This means that guests will only face a short drive, not being two tired before arrival.
The North of England is also surprisingly close to the Scottish border with the historical city of Edinburgh being a great choice for guests to explore. The livelier holiday makers may wish to try Newcastle which is famed throughout the country for its nightlife.
There are 18 different types of accommodation on offer, which all consist of a series of different caravans. The first caravan on offer is the Haggerston Superior caravan which can sleep eight guests. This caravan costs 234 pounds per week and has three separate bedrooms.
The bedrooms include a double which is generally spacious as well as two further twin bedrooms, which do provide ample space for guests. Two more guests can sleep in the living room and the caravan operates a strict no pets policy. The Haggerston deluxe caravan sleeps eight guests and costs £287 per week.
This caravan has a range of extra features which distinguish it from the other caravans. These features generally consist of entertainment options in the form of play station 3’s and flat screen televisions. The kitchen area is also much larger as well as the bathroom having a lay in bath which is an improvement on much of the accommodation.
A great balance between budget accommodation and space is the Haggerston superior 3 which costs £262 per week. This caravan has one double bedroom and two twins as standard, though can be altered in a range of different combinations. The caravan also provides a spacious living area with room for a further two guests as well as a reasonably sized bathroom with a lay in bath. This makes the caravan a great choice for families.Tags:
