Innes Maree holiday park in Poolewe in Ross-shire in the Northern Highlands is one of the most secluded parks on offer, located in the North of Scotland. The park is surrounding by the barren lands of Western Ross which gives it a really remote feel.
When staying at Innes Maree you will also be spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding what to do with the days with endless possibilities on offer. The nearby mountains provide skiing in the winter months with the Scottish Glens being the perfect location for Glen walking and exploring the unspoilt wilderness.
The region is arguably one of the most unspoilt natural areas in the whole of Europe which it owes to its remoteness. Many guests stay at the lodges in order to pursue a range of sports in the surrounding highlands including walking, mountain biking and exploring the West Scottish coastline.
The West Scottish coastline has a number of beaches which are approved for bathing and have life guard coverage in the summer months. The holiday park also benefits from one of the highest ratings among previous guests for a range of things such as value for money, location, surroundings and helpful staff. When it comes to eating out there is no restaurant on the actual site as such, though the surrounding area boasts a wide range of pubs offering traditional country faire.
There is only one accommodation type available at the park which consists of a large cottage costing from £249 per week. This bungalow style cottage has been described by previous guests as very comfortable and has three separate bedrooms and can sleep up to six people. The bedrooms consist of a double and which is very spacious and a reasonably sized twin bedroom both with ensuite and there is one with bunk beds.
The bungalow also has a family sized bathroom and open plan living area with kitchen/dining and lounge. There are dog friendly accommodations available and dogs are charged at £15 per week each with a maximum of two.
