Mushroom Cottage is a charming barn conversion in a lovely location on the edge of the attractive village of Castleton. The location in the middle of the Peak District ensures you have easy access to explore this beautiful area of Derbyshire and only a few hundred yards away you have all the facilities of the village available to you.
Castleton has plenty of pubs, in fact there are five in total, restaurants and cafes, a village store and quaint shops and galleries. Mushroom Cottage can sleep two people in one double bedroom and this is on the ground floor of the cottage with a wet room and toilet. Access to the first floor is via a spiral stair case and this opens out to the open plan living room, dining and kitchen area. The cottage also has exposed beams to present a rustic and authentic feel.
Some of the other features and facilities of Mushroom Cottage include an electric woodburner in the living room and all gas & electricity is included in the price of the accommodation. The bed line and towels are provided and some other features include Satellite TV with DVD, washing machine/dryer, microwave and outside you can relax in the small private enclosed patio with outdoor furniture.
The accommodation has on road parking and is non-smoking. There are short breaks, weekends and main holidays to choose from over 2, 3, 4 and 7 nights.
There is plenty to do in the local and surrounding areas with lots of sights, attractions and places to visit. Buxton is only 10 miles away and this is the capital of the Peak District with lots of shops, restaurants and pubs. Other places to visit include Chatsworth House and there are some lovely walks only a short walk away from the cottage.
