Water sports enthusiasts have the option to rent surfboards, and there are many prime surf spots in the close vicinity. This can also be a perfect option in the winter when swells become stronger and more powerful, creating some of the best waves in the UK.
There is also the option to rent sailing boats and enjoy a day of sailing along the beautiful coast. Pease bay is located on the East Scottish coast though waves roll in from the north. Simply walking along the beach is also a great option due to the picturesque nature of the coast line with beautiful sandstone cliffs. There are also multiple cycling tracks in the area which can be easily explored should you wish to hire a bike from the park.
Edinburgh is also very close by, and closest large city to Pease Bay providing many options for sightseeing and shopping should the weather not be suitable for heading to the beach.
Accommodation options at Pease Bay can sleep between four and six people, with a choice between four different types of caravan and one lodge. The lodge sleeps four people and has a traditional lodge style interior as well as two bedrooms, a double and a twin.
The lodge also has its own bathroom and kitchen area for making lunches for your day out at the beach. The lodge will cost you £341 per week. Cheaper accommodation options are found in a range of different caravans.
The cheapest on offer is the Pease superior 2 caravan which costs just £263 per week, and has two bedrooms, a double and a twin. If you are planning on going with a party larger than four people then the Pease Deluxe three, is probably the best option as it has three separate bedrooms, a double with two singles, as well as coffee making facilities and being described as luxury.Tags:
