Holiday Accommodation & Location Details
The Pen-y-Garth Lodges are located within the boundaries of the Snowdonia National Park in Bala in Gwynedd. The Snowdonia National Park is a protected area of outstanding natural beauty and offers guests a wide range of activities throughout the year.
A great option is hill walking which is one of the most popular pursuits with there being a wide range of walks available for visitors to embark upon. Snowdonia also offers guests the chance to pursue higher octane sports such as climbing and abseiling which can be facilitated by the park. The holiday park itself usually puts together groups who wish to undertake activities meaning you will always have company should you want it.
Accommodation options at Pen-y-Garth are far more luxurious than many other parks with a series of luxury lodges being available. Guests have a choice between bungalow style lodges as well as much larger two story lodges.
The lodges also boast a number of features designed to make your stay that bit the more convenient. These range from flat screen televisions to hot tubs. A good middle of the range option is the superior country 6 lodge, which can sleep six people. This lodge has a double bedroom as well as two twins which have two separate beds in each room.
There is also an open plan kitchen area, a bathroom and a decking area with garden furniture. Those who wish to attend with a slightly larger party may wish to stay at the Pen-y-Garth Manor which sleeps six in a two story lodge, described as a cottage. The cottage is styled on a manor house and boasts picturesque countryside views.
The living room is open plan and has a wood burning stove to keep warm on winter nights. Guests are accommodated in 4 separate bedrooms consisting of one double and three twins. This option will cost guests £419 per week, which works out very reasonable when split between a large group.Tags: Lodges in Gwynedd, Lodges in North Wales, Lodges in Wales
