Ramshorn Woodland Lodges is a superb collection of two storey lodges that are located is Oakamoor in Staffordshire. The Ramshorn Woodland Lodges boast an impressive in keeping woodland design, and are found in acres of beautiful woodland.
The surrounding woodland provides the perfect place for walks and outdoor activities such as cycling. The Peak District National Park is also close by which offers people some of the most beautiful scenery in the whole of the UK. The Peak District has an endless amount of beautiful lakes, rivers and mountains which are best explored on foot.
The more adventurous may also wish to head out for a day of caving or climbing which is possible in the surrounding area. Also under 3 miles from the log cabin park is Alton Towers Theme Park which provides great days out for the whole family.
There are two different types of accommodation available at the lodge park and these are Farley Lodge and the Cotton Lodge. The Farley Lodge sleeps eight people and is a luxurious and contemporary lodge, set across two different stories.
The ground floor of the lodge has one double bedroom with its own ensuite shower, as well as a lounge of an open plan design and a dining area with a kitchen. The living room of the lodge also has a wood burning stove which really adds to the feel of the lodge.
The first floor has one double bedroom with an ensuite shower and two further twin bedrooms. There is also a bath with an overhead shower. This accommodation costs from £585 per week.
The second lodge available to book is the Cotton Lodge which sleeps eight and costs from £685 per week. This lodge is again of a contemporary and luxurious design, set across two different floors. The ground floor has a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom as well as an open plan lounge.
There is also a dining area with a kitchen. A wood burning fire in the living room provides the heating in the accommodation. The first floor has a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom as well as two twins. Outside is a private outdoor hot tub.
When it comes to dining out, visitors have two main choices. The first is to simply buy food and cook within the lodges which have ample facilities for cooking.
