Spindlewood Lodges are located in Wells which is close to Glastonbury and in the county of Somerset. The log cabin park is pretty small in size making it perfect for those who want tranquility in a beautiful environment. The lodges are a series of high quality luxury well maintained Scandinavian styled log cabins, set amongst ten acres of luscious green grounds.
The local area is also a haven for a wide range of wildlife from Roe Deer to many species of birds. Attractions located nearby include Cheddar gorge and caves, as well as Longleat house which has a safari park. Longleat Safari Park is famous throughout the country due to it being one of the few drive through ones in the country. Getting close up to the wild animals has never been easier with the drive through animal enclosures. Glastonbury is also a very iconic town hosting the famous Glastonbury festival in the summer and being the location of Glastonbury Tor.
There is only one style and size of accommodation available which is the Spindlewood Lodge. The Spindlewood Lodge sleeps four people and costs from £319 per week. The lodge is spacious, comfortable and well equipped and is pine clad.
There are two separate bedrooms within the lodge which include a double and a twin. The lodge also has a spacious living room which is of an open plan design leading into a large kitchen diner. Garden furniture is also provided at the lodge immediately outside making it a great place to relax or have picnics.
Many people also flock to the area due to the activities which are on offer in the surrounding area. These include freshwater fishing at one of the nearby lakes as well as cycling in the Mendips National Park.
