Holiday Accommodation & Location Details
Set in deep woodland the Strathyre Forest lodge park is in Callander inPerthshire in the Southern Scottish Highlands. The log cabin park is perfect for those in search of a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The holiday park is surrounded by picturesque Lochs, as well the mountainous Trossachs. The cabins which provide accommodation at the park can be found midway between the mountains and the Loch, each having spectacular views you will love for every minute of your stay.
The lodge park is also located within a protected forestry commission estate with endless natural species of plants and animals living nearby. But equally only a short drive away is the city of Glasgow. Glasgow is a great choice for a day out for anyone who may wish to explore a combination of historical buildings and museums as well as world class dining options.
When it comes to eating out there are lots of great options, but due to the log cabins being self catering you may wish to stay within the cosy cabin. But you must have a day off cooking and venture into the surrounding area and visit one of the many pubs to sample some truly fantastic local foods and drink.
Strathyre Forest has a series of accommodation options available which are luxury self catering lodges & log cabins. The Silver Birch 3 which costs from around £426 per week and will sleep eight guests comfortably is the ideal family accommodation.
The log cabin has a double bedroom which boasts its own en suite shower, as well as two twin bedrooms. The beds are made up for your arrival and there is a veranda with a private outdoor hot tub. This lodge is perfect for either a family getaway or multi couples searching for a relaxing weekend away.
The slightly smaller log cabin is the Golden Oak 2 which costs from £447 per week. This lodge is more expensive however due to the range of extra features which are on offer at this accommodation. These include flat screen television and a large log burning stove in the living room. There are bath robes and luxury toiletries and outside is the verandah with a private outdoor hot tub.
There are plenty of other lodge accommodation choices sleeping four or six people, so lots of options whenever you choose to getaway. Some of the facilities include Archery, Canoeing, Kayaking, Fishing, Forest Walks and Cycle Trails, Mountain Bike Hire and much, much more.
