Holiday Accommodation & Location Details
The woods park provides a more upmarket atmosphere catering for the slightly older customers or simply those who wish for a more laid back break, not requiring the endless activities of some of the more energetic family orientated camps. There are however ample opportunities for guests to please themselves due to the location of the camp being in rural Scotland.
The lodges provide a great launching pad to explore many areas in Eastern Scotland. One of these can be the fishing villages scattered along the coast which is a great place to visit for authentic fish and chips, or family fishing excursions.
Hiring a boat for a day trip is a must and really shows you the area in a different light due to the maritime nature of this part of Scotland with endless coves and beaches just waiting to be explored. No trip to Scotland would be complete however without a visit to the highlands which are within a short drive of the lodges.
The one lodge on offer is the Woods lodge which costs from £345 per week and can sleep up to eight people in luxury, pleasing all but the most fussy of guests. The lodges all have three bedrooms consisting of a spacious master bedroom, and two twins.
A further two guests can sleep in the living room which has a sofa bed bringing the total up to eight. The lodge provides ample space for guests to bring outdoor equipment with them which could range from mountain bikes to surfboards. The thriving historical town of Edinburgh is also very close by and makes the lodges a great option for those who plan on visiting the city for a day trip to see many of the famous landmarks and events on offer.
Scotland is not the largest country in the world and the good road network means that all places but the most sparsely located settlements are easy to reach should you wish to visit them.Tags:
