Whipcott Water lodge park retreat is located in Holcombe Rogus in Somerset. The log cabin park is one of the premier parks on offer and is in the autograph collection ensuring high quality and luxury. Being situated between the counties of Somerset and Devon, Whipcott Water is close to both Taunton and Exeter.
The park is also pretty small in size housing just a small collection of contemporary styled lodges, which suit a range of different types of visitor from families to couples. The lodge park is also just 5 minutes away from the M5 motorway, surrounded by picture postcard perfect rolling countryside.
Visitors interested in outdoor sports such as hiking will also benefit from the parks close proximity to the South West’s two major National Parks, Dartmoor and Exmoor. Dartmoor is famous throughout the country for its high tors, meandering rivers and quaint villages, with Exmoor being a coastal National Park with breathtakingly beautiful scenery on offer. The Chedder Gorge caves are also close by which provide a fantastic opportunity for subterranean exploration for the more adventurous out there.

A short lane separates the park from a sister park, which offers a range of activities such as cycle hire and fishing.
One of the great accommodation options at Whipcott Water is the Flare lodge which sleeps four people in comfort costing from just £399 per week. This lodge is set across two stories and has two separate bedrooms, consisting of a double and a twin. There is also a family shower room as well as a small galleried study area. Outside you can admire the views from the private outdoor hot tub.
A couple looking for a romantic break may wish to consider the Hilltop bungalow which can sleep two people and costs from £345 per week. The bungalow has a spacious double bedroom with a king sized bed as well as a kitchen with a dining area. There is also a bathroom with an overhead shower and outside is the private hot tub. This is the only accommodation at Whipcott Water that is not a log cabin.
