York Lakeside lodges are close to the city of York in the Vale of York. The lodges themselves are part of a fantastic family run park providing a perfect self catering holiday base whenever you choose to getaway.
The lodge park is set amongst tranquil wooded grounds and has a number of fantastic lakes for visitors to enjoy. Although York Lakeside Lodges is located in tranquil countryside the park is still only 2 miles from the historical city of York. York has a number of interesting museums which are a gateway to its historical past as well as a number of fantastic restaurants, and a lively night life scene for the younger crowd.
The log cabin park is also close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park which is a protected area of natural beauty and lies within the stunning Vale of York. The Yorkshire Dales & Vale of York provide an endless amount of opportunities for a range of outdoor sports such as cycling, hiking and kayaking on one of the many rivers that pass through Yorkshire.
There are four accommodation types on offer and these are lodges & cottages which sleep between 3 and 7 people. One of the cottages is the Minster Cottage which sleeps 7 and costs from £400 per week. This cottage is brick built and has a double bedroom as well as a twin, and a further bedroom with three single beds. There is also a dishwasher and this is the perfect family retreat.
Another self catering accommodation option available is the Ebor Lodge which sleeps 3 people and costs from £285 per week. This lodge is semi detached and has either a double bedroom, or a twin with an ensuite bathroom. Further sleeping space is provided in the living room of the property.
The third option available is the Mere Cottage that sleeps four people and costs from £310 per week. This cottage has a sofa bed in the living room which can sleep two, as well as a double or twin bedroom.
